ABOUT THE ARTIST

Jerry Ewing is a self taught artist in a rural town near Kansas City, Missouri.

Each piece is an effort of love — a love for each tree's history, revealing hundreds of years of living through storms, winds and droughts. This gives each piece of wood its own characteristics — sometimes with intense colors and grains reflecting a traumatic occurrence in the life of the tree. With this deep appreciation for each plank of wood, Jerry lovingly creates pieces that will showcase the beautiful grains and colors in each work of art for your home.
