LADIES WRITING DESK

GALLERY BENCH

Heavy walnut bench with spalted hickory bowtie joinery accents. Bench was shaped by using a hand draw knife to create the soft slopes and shows the talent of the artist. Clean lines with an Asian influence shows beautifully under a large piece of art in the contemporary home. Mortise joinery allows for easy disassembly, as the piece is constructed without nails or mechanical fasteners.

VERTICAL FLOATING MIRROR

This mirror of curly maple with blood wood accents floats between the delicate support system. Three curved inlays of yellow heart, purple heart and blood wood, create a contemporary feel to this designer piece.

ASYMMETRIC MIRROR

Nature cast a plague on this hickory tree and the rare "spalting design" appeared, resulting in a stunning grain design. Artist has used great care in optimizing this wild grain, in an "artful" mirror that appears crooked, although hanging straight.

CONTEMPORARY WALL SHELF (shown with asymmetric mirror)

Rare spalted hickory shelf with purple heart inlayed banding that runs through the shelf and the black base. Natural diseases in this old hickory tree caused the "spalting" to appear, resulting in a dazzling grain design.

DRESSING MIRROR (shown with dressing stool)

Yellow heart and blood wood are combined using simple lines to allow the interesting sheen of the yellow heart to bounce off the detail work in the reddish bloodwood. A perfect mirror in a hall, master bath or dressing room.

DRESSING STOOL

Artist cleverly integrated the bloodwood in the center of the legs of this stool with the yellow heart top slightly curved making a comfortable place to sit during dressing. With the open design the artist has allowed this piece to have a light contemporary feel.

PEDESTAL PET DISHES

Heavy wood base is designed in exotic “yellow heart” wood from Brazil with delicate inlayed design of “purple heart” wood from South America. Ceramic bowl is dishwasher safe. Small Pet Size or Large Pet Size.
